fatty acids reacted under high pressure to alkali. Extraction process introduces
trace elements of synthetic chemicals as catalysts. These elements are not good

Commercial "soaps" are cheaper and
available anywhere. But first of all, you should know that the commercial
"soaps" are not really soaps, they are mainly synthetic detergents
that may be harsh for your delicate skin.
It is very economical to make a million pounds
of soap at once, especially if Low Quality oils are bought in huge
quantities, when making commercial soaps. No human ever has to physically touch
the soap. Everything is done by machine. The goal is not to make a superior
product, but to make as much profit as possible. It is a multimillion
dollar Industry.

the natural glycerin that results from saponification, the basic soap making

"Genuine" Natural soaps have been tried, many people will not go back
to commercial soap again.
Handmade soaps are made in small batches using the finest natural
ingredients. Obviously handmade soaps are labour intensive and cost more
for that reason as well.
It is the same as purchasing a hand made cabinet from an artisan rather than
purchasing one in a low cost department store for half the price.
