Mold4-Shell

2 in. tall, 7/8in. wide, 5/8in. deep.(0.4oz)

Each mold has ten cavities (five fronts and five backs)which, when joined, make five, three dimensional shells. Very detailed, great size for embedding.

Mold5-Shell

1-1/4in. tall, 1-3/8in. wide, 1in.deep.(0.5oz)

Each mold has eight cavities (four fronts and four backs)which, when joined, make four, three-dimensional shells. Also very detailed, good for embedding.

Plastic Soap Mold instructions

Support the mold as described previously, keeping the mold cavity level, and pour the melted soap, wax, etc., to fill one half of each cavity shape. If the mold has multiple cavities for multiple 3D shapes, pour half the cavities at one time. When the soap, wax, etc., has hardened in the cavities, remove the shape(s) from the mold. Trim any excess soap or wax from around the edges of each shape. You can use a knife or special tool for this, but your fingernail will do a really good job! :o) Once the shape is trimmed, check the "fit" by putting it on top of the other (empty) half of the mold. The hardened shape should fit well and should rest evenly on top of the mold cavity. If it is not level and even, do some more trimming. When you are satisfied with the fit, set the hardened shape aside. Pour the melted soap, wax, etc., into the second mold cavity (or cavities), again being careful to keep all the mold cavities supported and level. Immediately press each hardened shape down into the melted substance. Use gentle pressure to align the hardened shape(s) with the mold and melted soap or wax for a few seconds until the two halves are joined at all points. Some of the melted soap or wax will squeeze out the edges of the joined halves... that is normal and will help to cement the two parts together. Now that the halves are joined, give them time to harden completely, and remove from the mold. Trim any excess soap or wax off the seams and you will have a solidly joined, perfect 3D shape.

Note: these molds are not dishwasher safe.
