Potassium Sorbate

Used as a mold and yeast inhibitor for lotions, creams and other skin care  preparations.  Appearance: Dry, pellet-like powder. 

Potassium Sorbate is water soluble and can be used in lotions. Recommended usage level is between 0.05% and 0.3%

 Stearic Acid (Palm)

For use as a thickener and emulsifier. Great for creating smooth, velvety creams. Can be used along with our Emulsifying wax or beeswax. Also great to add to your soap for a harder bar.

Sunscreen Powder

Parsol® 1789 (INCI:Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane ) is an advanced UVA sunscreen that is becoming more frequently used in sun care products in the United States and Canada.

We are quite excited about this product especially after seeing

Dr. Pat Wexler, one of the most sought-after dermatologists in the USA on the "Oprah" show recently.

On the show Dr. Wexler said: "There is such thing as a miracle anti-aging cream…and it's sunscreen. She then told the audience to: "Look for Parsol, a new ingredient in sunscreen that protects against the UVA and UVB rays that cause cancer and aging."

It protects against long wavelength UVA rays, while most traditional products with sunscreen protect primarily against UVB and short wavelength UVA rays.

 Long wavelength UVA rays penetrate deeper into the skin than UVB rays and can cause excessive dryness, fine lines and wrinkles, irregular skin pigmentation and even a weakening of the skin's immune system, and cancer.
