Angel & Flute Mould

This is not a deep
mould; it has a thin oval flat back with the three dimensional figure being about 1/2 inch
deep. A fantastic mould for making a decorative lotion bar! Approximate size of finished bar:2 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" tall. Holds 1.5 oz.
Mould has 4 cavities. Oval Bar With Design
This
mould has four cavities to make four bars (flat back). Approximate size:3 1/8" long by 2 1/4" wide by 3/4" deep. Holds 2.6 oz.
Mold4-Shell
2 in. tall, 7/8in. wide, 5/8in. deep.(0.4oz) Each
mould has ten cavities (five fronts and five backs) which, when joined, make five, three
dimensional shells. Very detailed, great size for embedding.
Mold5-Shell
1-1/4in. tall, 1-3/8in. wide, 1in.deep.(0.5oz) Each
mould has eight cavities (four fronts and four backs) which, when joined, make four, three-dimensional shells. Also very
detailed, good for embedding.
Mold6-Asst.Shells
This is described as a chocolate
mould. Has eleven cavities (one of each is shown in photo). Average size:1-1/2in. Average weight:1/4oz. Good for chocolate, soap, candle
appliqué, and plaster. Note: Do not pour above 160 degrees without supporting well.
Mold7-Large Asst. Shells
Similar to above
mould but has four cavities. Starfish 4in.wide, 1/4in.deep,1/2oz.wt. Abalone 3-3/8in.wide, 3/4in.deep,1-1/2oz.wt. Mussels 2-3/4in.long,1/2in.deep,1/2oz.wt. Note: If using these designs for candles, it is easiest to drill the wick hole after
moulding. Do not pour over 16) degrees without supporting well.
Plastic Soap Mould instructions
Support the mould as described previously, keeping the mould cavity level, and pour the melted soap, wax, etc., to fill one half of each cavity shape. If the
mould has multiple cavities for multiple 3D shapes, pour half the cavities at one time.
When the soap, wax, etc., has hardened in the cavities, remove the shape (s) from the
mould. Trim any excess soap or wax from around the edges of each shape. You can use a knife or special tool for this, but your fingernail will do a really good job! :o)
Once the shape is trimmed, check the "fit" by putting it on top of the other (empty) half of the
mould. The hardened shape should fit well and should rest evenly on top of the mould
cavity. If it is not level and even, do some more trimming. When you are satisfied with the fit, set the hardened shape aside.
Pour the melted soap, wax, etc., into the second mould cavity (or cavities), again being careful to keep all the
mould cavities supported and level. Immediately press each hardened shape down into the melted substance. Use gentle pressure to align the hardened
shape (s) with the
mould and melted soap or wax for a few seconds until the two halves are joined at all points. Some of the melted soap or wax will squeeze out the edges of the joined halves... that is normal and will help to cement the two parts together.
Now that the halves are joined, give them time to harden completely, and remove from the
mould. Trim any excess soap or wax off the seams and you will have a solidly joined, perfect 3D shape. Note: these
moulds are not dishwasher safe.

mixes (you can only make one type of soap at a time in these moulds as colour
and fragrances will seep through from one divider to the next). Easy to
use, makes 2 x 3 inch bars. Maximum thickness about 2 inches. Just line the box with a light
plastic, set the outer ring inside over the plastic, pour soap mixture and set the dividers in. Cover and insulate, leave till soap has hardened, and turn the
mould over to remove soap. We've used this style of mould for about 4 years now, and they are a real time saver, and will last for years.
